Çiğdem Çınar

Çiğdem Çınar is an economist. Throughout her 40 years career she worked 21 years for the Ministry of Trade of Türkiye, she had two 3-year stints at the Turkish Embassies in The Hague/The Netherlands and Budapest/Hungary as Commercial Counsellor.
As a strategist and negotiator Çiğdem represented Türkiye in numerous international organisations and inter-governmental meetings. Being experienced on Turkey’s trade and economic relations she worked for Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEIK) as Group Coordinator of the Turkish - Eurasian Business Councils.
Çiğdem is an executive of the Turkish Contractors Association (TCA) which is Türkiye’s principal non-governmental organisation for construction and contracting services for nearly 18 years. She is also the Permanent Official in the European International Contractors (EIC) since 2007 representing TCA.
