Sarwono at present is the Board of Director of Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils (2019-2023); Director of Region 2 of Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (2016-2024); DRBF Country Representative for Indonesia (2012-now); President, Society of Construction Law of Indonesia (2023-now).
He is recently involved in some international projects as Adjudicator, Arbitrator, Dispute Board as well as Accredited Trainer of FIDIC CC.
Formerly he worked as Special Adviser to the Minister of Public Works and Housing; Deputy Director and then Vice President of State Electricity Corporation/PT PLN (Persero), before he worked at project site as Project Manager of some HEPPs.
In addition to other publications and reviewer roles, Sarwono was also involved in the preparation of FIDIC Rainbow Series 2017, reprinted 2022; Green Book 2022 and he translate the Rainbow Series 1999 and 2017, MDB Harmonised 2010 into Bahasa Indonesia (under FIDIC license). In 7 May 2022, Sarwono has been awarded with the Al Mathews Award for Dispute Board Excellence.
